OIA director becomes the ICE's 160th president
On the 6th of December 2024, OIA director and co-founder, Prof Jim Hall, became the 160th president of the Institution of Civil Engineers. In his presidential address, Jim said the industry needs to be at the forefront of the changing nature of infrastructure “We engineers will create and operate the infrastructure systems for a sustainable future,”. Through 2024 and 2025, Jim will drive initiatives that echo OIA’s mission to support the development of resilient, sustainable and inclusive infrastructure.
